The Exceeds

Exceed are a race of cat-like beings that exist in Edolas as far back as 100 years prior to the main storyline.Happyand Carla are members of this race.Mystogan's Reverse Anima sucked the entire race to Earth Land.

Tenrou Island

Tenrou Island (天狼島, Tenrō Jima lit. Heaven Wolf Island) is the holy ground of the Fairy Tail guild. X784's S-Class Wizard Promotion Trial was held on this island.It is also the resting place of Fairy Tail's first Guild Master, Mavis Vermilion.

S-class Mage Promotion Trial

The S-Class Mage Promotion Trial (Ｓ級魔導士昇格試験,S Kyū Madōshi Shōkaku Shiken), also known as S-Class Wizard Promotion Trial, is an annual guild tradition, wherein selected Fairy Tail Mages of remarkable abilities are given the chance to become an elite S-Class Mage--a position worthy of their exceptional powers. It is comprised of several trials designed to test the skills of the candidates.

Grimoire Heart

Grimoire Heart (グリモアハート Gurimoa Hāto 悪魔の心臓lit. Demon's Heart) is one of the top three Dark Guilds that the Balam Alliance is comprised of, as well as the one commonly considered the strongest Dark Guild. The guild owes its name to the Devil's Heart,an organic device which is the source of Guild Master, Hades' immense power, kept inside the guild's airship.

Hades

Hades, known as Purehito back then, became the second Master of Fairy Tail after Mavis Vermilion. Some time later, in the Year X736, Purehito appointed Makarov (40 years old at that time) as the third Master and his successor, much to the man's dismay. Ignoring Makarov's claims that he wasn't fit for it, he praised Makarov's love for his allies and his capability to believe, claiming that he would have made Fairy Tail into a good Guild. He then left on a journey.

On such journey, he traced the roots of Magic back to Zeref, where he saw what can be called "the Essence of Magic". It is presumably around this point that he reformed his ways and became a Dark Mage, and then founded Grimoire Heart, raised and trained the Seven Kin of Purgatory, teaching them different forms ofLost Magic, in order to acquire this "Essence of Magic". It's known that he personally recruited Ultear Milkovich, nearing her while she was a child and promising her that, in the Ultimate World of Magic, the Arc of Time Magic which he would have taught her would have allowed her to travel through time and change the sad events of her childhood into happy ones.

Mavis Vermilion

She is the founder of Fairy Tail and is the first guild master, which she later gave into the hands of Purehito,her successor. In gratitude, members of Fairy Tail made her a grave on the holy island of the guild -Tenrou Island.

Sabertooth VS Fairy Tail

Sabertooth

The "strongest guild in Fiore" is led byMaster Jiemma with an iron hand: any member staining the name of Sabertooth with his actions is severely reprimanded, and disgracing the guild might even lead to excommunication, with Jiemma further humiliating the underling who failed him before driving them out, as seen with Yukino Aguria, who was forced to strip and then chased away for losing againstKagura Mikazuchi and being pitied by her.

Sabertooth's ranks seem to consists of at least several tens of members,among which are the five éliteMages, known as the "Strongest Five", who earned the guild its current status.Unlike Fiore's former top guild,Fairy Tail, which accepts new members without requirements, Sabertooth seems to have high standards, as noted by Yukino Aguria, who managed to join only after a long time.

Sting eucliffe

Sting is a slim, yet muscular and toned young man of average height with blonde hair, which is kept in spiky strands jutting outwards in every direction, and a smaller, frontal tuft of hair partially hanging on his forehead. He has slanted dark eyes, and above the right one is a visible thin scar, diagonally going up his forehead. His left ear is adorned by an earring, with a prominent metal pendant reminiscent of a double-edged blade attached to it. His dark Sabertooth stamp is located on his left shoulder.Being a Dragon Slayer, he possesses distinctively sharp canine teeth.

Sting dons a blue vest with golden outer edges and inner edges covered by a prominent trimming of gray fur over a short, cream top, leaving his muscular upper abdominals exposed. His arms are covered by dark blue gloves reaching up to his middle biceps, with their upper edges being adorned by light grey bands hanging down several centimeters. He wears loose, cream pants, similar to Natsu's, but held up by suspenders, attached to the pants' loops by square-shaped rings. Over them, he dons distinctive, dark blue galoshes-like footwear, reaching up to his thighs and attached to the upper edge of his pants. The prominent soles of the "boots" are distinctive in their own right, having rectangular protrusions pointing upwards on their front part, similar to square fangs.

Rogue Cheney (ローグ・チェーニ Rōgu Chēni) is a Mage of the currently strongest Guild in Fiore, the SabertoothGuild.

Raven tail

Raven Tail (大鴉の尻尾 (レイヴンテイル) Reivun Teiru) was a Dark Guild operating in Earth Land. As of yearX791, such status has been revoked, and Raven Tail has been acknowledged as a Legal Guild. The whole concept of Raven Tail, its creation and even its name and symbol seem to stem from the hostility towardsFairy Tail, founder and Master Iwan Dreyar's former guild, from which he was excommunicated by his own fatherMakarov Dreyar for unknown actions against Fairy Tail itself. In year X784, Iwan made claim that his goal is to gather enough money to make war with Fairy Tail.As of X791, Raven Tail's Master is still eager for such confrontation, claiming that the waiting is finally over, and his underlings started hostilities with the rival guild during the Grand Magic Games, attacking its members and picking on them during the competition's events.The reason behind Iwan's enmity towards Fairy Tail stems from his desire to obtain Lumen Histoire, a secret which his former guild treasures, and which is unknown even to most of its members.
